Abia State Government says its 25 – year growth development plan is to be unveiled soon as a strategic document that will articulate the State’s development trajectory for the next 25 years.
According to the Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, “The plan will outline the short, medium, and long-term aggregate growth in a sequential progression with the ultimate goal of developing the State in a structured manner, regardless of the administration in power.
“The document will include funding pathways for the plan. Upon the unveiling of the document, necessary legal backing will be put in place to ensure that it runs in full course” Prince Kanu stated.
Prince Kanu announced that the Materials Testing Laboratory built by governor Alex Otti has been fully installed and ready for commissioning. The facility, he explained, would play a vital role in preventing building collapses across Abia state.
