A prophecy shared by a preacher identified as Yinka King Omole has sparked widespread reactions online after he claimed to have received a divine message concerning Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
In a video that has since gone viral, Prophet Omole alleged that God revealed to him that Pastor Adeboye has completed his earthly assignment. According to him, the respected cleric is preparing to “say goodbye” to the world.
The prophet insisted that his revelation came during a midnight encounter, describing it as a message the church should pay attention to.
In the recording, Prophet Omole appears dressed in a flowing white garment and holding a wooden rod as he narrates what he says he saw. According to his account, Pastor Adeboye appeared in the vision dressed entirely in white — including white shoes — and was waving farewell to a large crowd.
A key moment in the vision, he said, involved a staff in Pastor Adeboye’s hand. He claimed an angel took the staff from the cleric, removed Adeboye’s name from it, and replaced it with another person’s name — though he said the identity of the new name was not revealed to him.
Prophet Omole went on to advise members of the RCCG not to mourn when, according to him, the prophecy comes to pass. He claimed Pastor Adeboye is already aware of the message and that the vision serves as divine preparation for the church.
“Around 2 a.m., the Lord showed me a vision and spoke about Pastor Adeboye. I saw him dressed in pure white, waving goodbye. The Lord said he has finished his assignment. I saw an angel collect the staff in his hands, remove his name, and replace it with another person’s name,” he said.
