“Problem, fame African Queen brought to me”— 2face Idibia

Talented Nigerian musicians, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface has made an interesting revelation about his hit song, African Queen.
He said the work was a mixed blessing, coming with both its good sides and burden.

“That song has been a very huge blessing and e don turn to problem join for me, you know, but Like I said earlier, I’m grateful for everything.

“There are so many other songs I have that are brilliant, and many people resonate with them too,” he said, but that African Queen remains his most iconic
Tubaba as he is also known, apparently referred to the ownership issue that cropped up between him and former Plantashun Boiz bandmate, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, popularly known as Blackface.

The artiste owed much of his fame to the 2004 release, but controversy was to trail it afterwards, with Blackface claiming ownership.

“That song has been a very huge blessing and e don turn to problem join for me, you know, but Like I said earlier, I’m grateful for everything”, he told the Entertainment & Lifestyle show.
