Nollywood’s golden girl, Regina Daniels, has set social media ablaze after launching a fiery tirade against her estranged husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko — accusing him of manipulation, abuse, and betrayal on an unimaginable scale.
The 25-year-old actress, who married Nwoko as a teenager, declared that she will take legal action against him following a string of damaging allegations he made online — including claims that she and members of her family were involved in drug use.
“When I married you at 17, was I getting high?”
In an emotionally charged post shared on her Instagram Story, Regina tore into the narrative Nwoko had been spinning. She said his claims were not only false but hypocritical — insisting that he was the one who introduced her to drugs, claiming it made her “more attractive and passionate.”
“Yes, everyone! It is now in history that Regina Daniels did drugs because that was what her husband wanted, believe it or not. Dearest ex-husband, thanks for breaking the crown you put on my head,” she wrote.
The actress accused Nwoko of locking her up, confiscating her phones, and forcing himself on her, adding that he often labelled her “mentally unstable” whenever she tried to leave the marriage.
“I trusted you even with my sex tape”
In what many are calling one of the most shocking confessions yet, Regina revealed that she had trusted her husband with her most private secrets — including an alleged sex tape — and expressed fear that he could use it against her.
“No one knew us like us, and I trusted you with all of me, even with my sex tape, which I pray never sees the light, but you have always been a step ahead negatively,” she wrote.
While acknowledging that her image has been severely damaged by the controversy, Regina said she refuses to let her story end in disgrace. She vowed to reclaim her name and rewrite her narrative — this time, in court.
“My name is ruined for now, but I will rewrite my story! That narrative will be dead and gone. Now that I have let the one thing you have on me out, what else? It’s time to fight with all of myself in court! I’m not backing down now, you narcissistic, manipulative bastard!”
