The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has expressed it’s appreciation to Present Ahmed Bola Tinubu following the peaceful conduct of the Gubernatorial election in Anambra state.
It also posited that the task before the party in the next four years demands unity and maturity in order to continually provide governance that works to the people of Anambra state.
Recall that before the election it was being peddled that President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has ordered his candidate Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and the all the Governors of All Progressives Congress( APC) extraction to capture Anambra through any means possible.
But the outcome of the election has indeed proved they Tinubu never issued such an order which indicates that it was a dummy sold to Anambra electorate which the voters refused to buy .
In a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of APGA Mazi Ejimofor Opara congratulating Soludo the party said ;
“With 73% of the total votes cast and victories in 98% of the 326 electoral wards across the state, Ndi Anambra have once again delivered a clear, unequivocal, and overwhelming mandate—affirming their trust in Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership, bold reforms, and unwavering commitment to building a liveable and prosperous homeland”
“This landslide triumph is not merely an electoral outcome; it is a referendum on performance, a celebration of progressive governance, and a reaffirmation of APGA as the true political identity of Ndi Igbo and the custodian of Anambra’s development aspirations.”
“APGA extends profound appreciation to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for ensuring an atmosphere of peace, fairness, and national responsibility throughout the electoral process. We commend the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a transparent and credible election that reflects the will of the people.”
The party also commended the security operatives that worked during the election for guaranteeing security and ensuring law and order
