Tinubu Should Move Fast to Appeal to Trump, Then Order Service Chiefs to Wipe Out Terrorists in 90 Days or Resign – Pastor Adeboye

Amid rising global tension over U.S. President Donald Trump’s warning to invade Nigeria if the killings of Christians continue, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to act swiftly and strategically.

Adeboye advised Tinubu to move diplomatically to appeal to Trump for a 100-day grace period, then return home to give Nigeria’s security chiefs a 90-day ultimatum to end terrorism or step down.

Speaking in a sober and urgent tone, the revered cleric said that Nigeria stands at a dangerous crossroads where both domestic insecurity and foreign pressure threaten its stability.

“Diplomatically, move wisely,” Adeboye said at the church’s monthly Holy Ghost service on Friday. “Find a way to convince the President of America to please delay these actions for about a hundred days, and then come home and tell our security chiefs, get rid of these terrorists within 90 days, or resign.”

Adeboye’s remarks came as the United States reportedly expressed frustration over the Nigerian government’s inability to curb religious killings and terrorist attacks, with Trump’s administration hinting at possible military intervention should the situation continue unchecked.
