A Cross Boarder Bandits infiltrating from Katsina into Kano Shanono, Bagwai and Tsanyawa Boarder Communities, have killed three people abducting several other Persons including Young Girls and Boys.
Shanono, Bagwai, and Tsanyawa Local Governments of Kano State, continue to face serious Bandits Infiltration and attacks with so many people been Kidnapped and others been killed, this is despite the deployment of heavy Armed Security Personnel.
Speaking while meeting with the affected Communities, the Chairman of the Faruruwa, Shanono Local Government Security Committee, Alhaji Yahya Bagobiri, said in less than a week they experienced several Bandits attacks around the three Local Governments.
He said, “the situation has becomes even more serious after the drafting of the Security Personnel with several people taken away, while just even yesterday somebody was slaughtered at his House and his Children been kidnapped”.
Bagobiri lamented that so many Residents have fled their homes while some of those staying outside the Communities cannot dare go in to visit their Families.
“This is how serious the situation is, but indeed we welcome the deployment of armed Military, Police and Civil Defense, but they need to be strategic because the Bandits are using several means to infiltrates our Communities”, he said.
Alhaji Yahya Bagobiri, strongly appeals to both President Tinubu and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State to come to their rescue, saying if something is not urgently done there would be serious consequences.
He said, “what the Bandits are trying to do is to takeover Shanono, Tsanyawa, Bagwai, Gwarzo and Bichi, after which they would completely encircled Kano with their attacks”.
Speaking the District Head of Faruruwa in Shanono Local Government, Mustapha Abubakar, said in the last three days so many people were killed and several girls and young Boys been kidnapped at his areas.
“Just Yesterday, at Yancibi and Kadami three People were slaughtered and others taken away, and you can imagine these attacks were done on a broad day light”.
He said the Bandits infiltrates their areas from Katsina State who have signed peace accord with them that whatever they carried they can go smoothly through Katsina Local areas unhindered.
The District Head, urged the Military to deploy another strategy by taking over all the Bushes areas and linkage roads which the Bandits uses to comes through, “we understand that yesterday attacks was carried out by the Criminals who Trek into our Communities bypassing the Security”.
