“I’m Not Sick!” – Ice Prince Clears the Air on His Weight Loss

Nigerian rap icon Ice Prince Zamani has finally addressed the buzz surrounding his recent weight loss, and he’s making one thing very clear: he’s not sick.

The Oleku hitmaker revealed that his slimmer physique is the result of a conscious lifestyle and fitness change, not medical issues. Ice Prince explained that he decided it was time to shed extra weight gained from “bad habits and choices.”

Sharing his journey on X (formerly Twitter), the rapper said that the push came from family and friends, with top producer Chopstix playing a key role by motivating him and joining him on daily evening walks.

“God so good inna me life… A short story!

I was literally about to explode — no sickness (Bless God) — just bad habits and choices. But then Chopstix and Dami said, ‘Let’s lose the belly, Ice,’ and that really sparked something in my brain. From that meeting, my brother Chopstix started coming to my house every day after dinner, and we’d walk my estate for an hour. Our talks during those walks are priceless to me… buss a shot fa ma true fren,” Ice Prince wrote.

Fans quickly noticed the rapper’s transformation, sparking admiration and curiosity online. His post confirms that the change is about health, fitness, and discipline, not illness.

Ice Prince joins a growing list of Nigerian celebrities embracing health and wellness. In 2022, actress Eniola Badmus made headlines after losing 80 kilograms, dropping from 170kg to 90kg. Earlier this year, Mercy Johnson-Okojie also trended after her dramatic weight loss, which she later explained was linked to a thyroid operation.
