A member House of Representatives representing Birnin Magaji/Kaura Namoda federal constituency, hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, has received over 2000 representatives of over 10,000 PDP defectors from across the 14 local government areas of the state.
Addressing the defectors at his Gusau residence on Sunday, hon. Sani Jaji, expressed satisfaction that his party, APC, will recover Zamfara State as it will sweep all elections come 2027.
“I am glad, the defectors had expressed readiness to join and support our great party, APC, coming through the doors of my ‘Jajiyya’ movement, and that shows they are satisfied with our ideology of playing politics for the development of the state.
“I am assuring you that, APC will give you equal treatment with other bonafide members at all levels across the state, you would never regret dumping your former party for APC.
“I am optimistic that whoever happens to be progressive and will emerge as APC flag bearer willing to contest for any position will surely win right from the Presidential, Gubernatorial and all other political seats in Zamfara by 2027, this is no doubt as it has already shown that there is only one political party in the state.
“There is perfect unity and mutual understanding between the leaders and fellow members in our great party now as we have thrown back all our differences, we knew what happened that led to the failure for APC in 2019 elections which we have tackled it and hope will not repeat,” Jaji has explained.
He further claimed that, Zamfara has been known as APC stronghold state, a reason that made President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to won the election with landslide victory against other opponents from other political parties.
