TikTok star, Mainly Mannie has publicly announced his diagnosis with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).
He disclosed this via a video posted to his TikTok account, with 1.4 million followers.
According to Mainly Mannie, he described his birthday, which he celebrated in the hospital, as a sweet moment, feeling lucky and blessed.
Sharing details of how he got infected, Mainly Mannie revealed he contracted HIV through his ex, whose identity remains unknown.
However, despite observing symptoms, he was deeply in love.
“Life has been trying to take me out lately. From the accidents, the sicknesses and then me finding out I had HIV summer time of this year. I’m not the victim. My ex gave me this and I didn’t know. I had signs, I was so deep in love “, He stated.
Sharing an update on managing his condition, Mainly Mannie revealed he’s taking medication that costs around $4,000 monthly.
According to him, his health condition is improving.
