Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo, has pledged to support parents struggling to pay their children’s school fees as schools resume for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a post shared on his official X handle on Wednesday, the award-winning artiste acknowledged the financial strain families face at the start of every term.
“I know it’s school fee season, it’s not always easy, I know this first-hand. So, let me help lessen that burden a little bit,” Dakolo wrote.
The singer directed parents and guardians to send their children’s school bills via Instagram to @TheOyindaOlu, adding that receipts of payments made to schools would be sent back as confirmation.
“Just DM the school bill to @TheOyindaOlu on IG. We would DM you the receipt of what we sent to the school,” he added.
Dakolo’s gesture has drawn wide praise online, with many fans commending him for stepping in at a time when households are grappling with mounting costs.
The singer is well-known for his family-inspired songs and socially conscious messages, has often spoken about issues affecting education and welfare. His latest intervention continues a growing trend of celebrities providing direct relief to fans facing economic hardship.
