Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Zita, has apologised to fellow housemate Rooboy following a heated altercation during a wager task that escalated into a physical confrontation.
The clash, which stemmed from a distraction during the group task, saw tensions flare as Zita poured food on Rooboy’s face, a move he later described as humiliating and crossing the line.
Encouraged by fellow housemate Kola, Zita approached Rooboy to tender a sincere apology. While Rooboy accepted the apology, he made it clear that the incident had left a lasting impact on their relationship.
“I have forgiven you, but I cannot do friendship like that,” Rooboy told Zita. He added that the repeated pattern of what he termed disrespectful behaviour had damaged trust, making it impossible for them to maintain the playful closeness they once shared.
Reflecting on the moment, Rooboy admitted he had felt intense anger and could have reacted violently but chose to restrain himself.
“I’m not supposed to continue it as a man. If I do, I’m the stupid one,” he said, noting that he deliberately considered the consequences and decided not to escalate the situation.
He further emphasised that while they would still exchange greetings in the house, the bond they once had was broken. “It’s not about sorry; sorry cannot do anything,” he remarked.
Zita reportedly admitted her fault and acknowledged the impact of her actions, expressing her willingness to move forward. However, Rooboy’s comments suggest that rebuilding trust and restoring their friendship will take time.
