Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted his wife, Chioma Adeleke, a brand-new 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.
The luxury SUV, which recently debuted on the market, is valued at over $150,000 (₦240 million) depending on specifications and is notable for its updated design and electric model options.
In a video shared on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, Davido was seen picking up the vehicle and explaining how he traded in an older model to acquire the latest edition. “First of all, we had to take the one I got, then obviously add more money to get the new one,” he said.
Presenting the G-Wagon to Chioma, Davido declared, “Only the best for my lady,” as she reacted with visible excitement. The singer hyped the moment further, cheering, “We do 2025!”
The gesture comes just weeks after Davido and Chioma’s lavish white wedding in Miami on August 10, 2025, the last of three ceremonies following their court marriage in March 2023 and traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.
The Miami wedding, reportedly costing around $3.7 million, was attended by prominent figures, including business moguls, politicians, and entertainers from Nigeria and beyond.
