Veteran singer, Charly Boy seeks suitable wife for 46-year-old divorced son, lists qualifications
Veteran singer and activist, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has revealed that he is actively seeking a wife for his 46-year-old son.
The entertainer disclosed in a post on X and Instagram on Friday, where he gave details about his son and the kind of partner he hopes to find for him.
According to Charly Boy, his son, who holds a master’s degree and stands 5ft 11ins tall, was previously married but divorced, and now appears to be afraid of women.
He explained that he is looking for a woman from a “good home with humble beginnings”, while stressing that only “authentic graduates” should apply.
“My people, I still dey look for wife for dis my son.
E don marry once, divorce. Now, e be like say e dey fear woman.

Charly Boy added that his son, described as “very humble”, will be returning to Nigeria next month, and he hopes to “tie him to Nigeria” through marriage.
