Reactions as Niger state governor, prostrate to greet president Tinubu
A video showing the moment Niger state governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, prostrated to greet President Bola Tinubu has sparked a conversation on social media.
The President granted the governor audience and while he was entering the room, he prostrated to greet the president and proceeded to sit on the floor while speaking to him.
Others who also came in to see the President also sat on the floor as they spoke with him.
While some kick against the governor’s decision to prostrate, others argue that the President is an elder and he deserves the prostration.
