It was glitz and glamour at the AFRIMA Patron’s Night With the Jury, hosted by AFRIMA Patron, Dr. Bisi Onasanya, in Lagos.
The classy dinner brought together government officials, music stars, creative industry leaders, and media executives to celebrate the AFRIMA Jury, who reviewed over 10,717 entries for the 2025 awards.
Dignitaries in attendance included Minister of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa; Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Toke Benson-Awoyinka; Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho; former Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed; music moguls Kenny Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye; journalist Mayor Akinpelu; and media personality Uti Nwachukwu.
The night sparkled with appearances by music stars Ice Prince Zamani, Praiz, Orezi, and DJ Nana, while rising sensation Qing Madi thrilled guests with a soulful performance — the only live performance of the night.
Also present were AFRIMA President/Executive Producer, Mike Dada; Jurors from across Africa and the diaspora; and other cultural stakeholders. The dinner set the tone for the November 25–30 AFRIMA 2025 week in Lagos.
