Nigerian social media users are on high alert, anticipating a response from singer Portable after TikTok influencer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, mentioned him during a recent live session with football star Victor Boniface.
During the chat, Peller brought up Portable’s name, prompting an immediate reaction from Boniface, who urged him not to delve into the topic. Ignoring the warning, Peller insisted on continuing, asking Boniface to step off-camera so he could express himself freely.
He went on to reveal that he played a key role in boosting Portable’s early music career, helping the street-pop artist hit one million streams on Spotify. However, Peller claimed that once Portable gained fame, he was blocked. He added that he responded in kind shortly after.
