Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has gifted a new car to former Nigeria international and ex-U-17 national team coach, Nduka Ugbade
Ndidi has publicly acknowledged Ugbade’s significant influence on his career and has maintained a close relationship with him.
In March 2023, Ndidi visited the Golden Eaglets’ camp in Abuja, where he reunited with Ugbade, who was coaching the team at the time. Ndidi expressed his gratitude, referring to Ugbade as “a very pivotal man in my football career” .
Ugbade also shared that Ndidi had called him after his debut at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, saying, “Now, I have gone,” acknowledging that Ndidi had fulfilled a dream he once had .
Ndidi has been known for his generosity, including donating ₦5 million to the Flying Eagles ahead of a crucial AFCON qualifier in 2024.
