Tragedy strikes as Shimite Bello, Special Adviser to Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, on Trade and Export passes away from alleged food poisoning.
According to a report from investigative journalist and blogger, Stella Dimokorkorus, Shimite Bello was in stable health prior to her demise, with concerns arising over her unresponsiveness to Easter messages.
Furthermore, the report claimed that the maid informed Bello’s elder brother that her husband had locked her in a room, prompting his swift visit.
However, she was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
According to SP Bright Edafe, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Shimite Bello’s husband reported her death to security operatives and was subsequently taken into protective custody due to threats from her family.
