The Chairman of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano State, Alhaji Hashimu Dungurawa, has in the wake of Statement from the APC office in Kano that, “Kwankwaso and his supporters are decamping to the Party,” said the 2023 NNPP Presidential Candidate Kwankwaso would never aligned himself with President Tinubu failed Government.

Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa who strongly denied the rumors of Senator Kwankwaso’s potential defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), while responding on the matter, Friday, notes that, “not even we who are in a strong opposition Party and we had never voted for Tinubu even those in the APC will not vote for him again”.

However, the NNPP Chairman boosted that, “should Kwankwaso is even decamping to APC, did he need messengers in the likes of Party Chairman in Kano to actualize his intentions?

” Kwankwaso does not need to consult anyone before making any political decision, and don’t forget that Kwankwaso was among the founding fathers of the APC and he operates at high level so not even Ganduje talk less of Abbas could be consulted if he truly want to return to the Party”.

But you should be clear that we have no business with APC, and do not have any intention to defect,” Dungurawa said, dismissing the rumors as mere mischief.

He described the APC’s claims as baseless and motivated by desperation, adding that APC’s Claims is nothing but a huge desperation, further attributing the APC’s actions to their knowledge of the damage they caused during their time in power.

“There is no gainsaying that APC government today has plunge Nigeria into terrible uncertainty with everything becoming highly difficult for the citizens to obtain.

“Tinubu has destroyed virtually everything, Education, Health, Foods and Shelter are no longer tenable for the Citizens to have while Petroleum is always on the high prices, so tell me where is the beauty of their administration that they would even attract somebody to joined them”.

He expressed confidence that the NNPP administration is taking shape and sooner than later they would capture large part of Nigeria with the Presidency as their main target to win.

The NNPP Chairman predicted that the APC would lose ground in the forthcoming general elections, claiming that the party would not secure even 5 million votes nationwide.

“During the last elections they wins about 8 Million but I’m betting you that this coming elections they would not even 5 Million votes across the Country, and NNPP our Party that is getting stronger by the day would be the darling and winning Party than”.

This statement comes after the APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, announced that the party has opened its doors to new defectors.
