Nigerian music star Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has revealed that he plans to tie the knot this year.
The “Bounce” crooner admitted that attending several weddings recently has made him rethink his Playboy lifestyle. According to him, the time has come to settle down, especially as he approaches his 30th birthday.
Taking to Snapchat, Ruger wrote:
“Everybody is just getting married. Got me questioning myself—how long will I continue this Playboy shiii? I’m settling down this year, period. I’ll soon be 30, tf.”
This comes as a surprise to many, as Ruger has previously expressed doubts about relationships. In a recent interview, he revealed that while his initial instinct is to take relationships seriously, he often loses interest along the way.
“I am a loverboy, but I’ve come to realize that relationships don’t work for me. Normally, when I see a girl, my first thought is to get serious with her, but along the line, I lose interest,” he confessed.
Now, with marriage on his mind, fans are eager to know who the lucky lady is. Could Ruger have finally found “the one”? Only time will tell!
