Turkish football powerhouse, Galatasaray, have turned their attention to Alvaro Morata as they prepare for life after Victor Osimhen. The club is set to bring in the Spanish striker on loan from AC Milan, with many seeing him as the ideal replacement for the Nigerian forward once his temporary spell comes to an end this summer.
Galatasaray had pulled out all the stops to keep Osimhen, tabling a €65 million offer to Napoli in hopes of making his stay permanent. However, the Italian giants wasted no time in rejecting the bid, forcing Galatasaray to explore alternative options in attack.
Now, all roads lead to Istanbul for Morata, as negotiations between Milan and Galatasaray have reportedly been finalized. The deal will see the experienced striker join on an initial loan, with an option to extend for another year. A buy clause has also been inserted into the agreement, giving the Turkish champions the flexibility to make the move permanent if he impresses.
With paperwork being processed, the final step is for Morata to board a flight to Istanbul and complete the switch. Galatasaray fans are bracing themselves for a new era—one where Morata takes center stage in the club’s quest for domestic and European glory.
