Osimhen in Wahala:Jounalist accuses Eagles striker of punching him

Victor Osimhen, Nigeria’s football sensation and Napoli’s star striker on loan to Galatasaray, has found himself in hot soup off the pitch in Turkey. A Turkish journalist is accusing the Super Eagles forward of channeling his inner “Nollywood villain” after an incident involving a camera flash.

Tolga Bozduman, a reporter for Turkish media outlet Posta, claims he was minding his business, snapping pictures of Osimhen, when all hell broke loose.

“I filmed Osimhen as he was leaving; I was with three colleagues,” Bozduman narrated, painting a scene fit for a suspense film.

According to Bozduman, the flash triggered Osimhen like a penalty call against his team.

“He charged at me, shouting, tried to grab my camera. I refused to let go, and he punched me. My guy, it still hurts!” the journalist said, with the drama level on full blast.

But wait, there’s more. Bozduman claims that after the alleged punch, Osimhen pulled a “let’s settle this” move, reportedly offering cash to delete the photos.

“‘Destroy the photos, I’ll give you money,’ he told me,” the journalist revealed, adding that he stood firm like a defender blocking a shot.

To cap it all, Osimhen allegedly delivered a parting shot straight out of a gangster flick: “I will destroy you.”

As Nigerians wait for Osimhen’s side of the story, the streets of Twitter are already buzzing. Whether this is a case of misunderstanding or drama on steroids, one thing is clear: Osimhen’s Turkish adventure is turning out to be more than just football.
