Popular skit maker and content creator Akinyoola Ayoola, better known by his stage name Kamo State, has officially said “I do” to his longtime girlfriend, Esther Olamide. The colourful wedding ceremony took place on Wednesday, December 4, in Lagos and was a spectacle of joy and celebration.
The nuptials came just days after the couple had teased fans with stunning pre-wedding photos shared on their social media accounts, setting the stage for what was to be a memorable day.
In one of the viral videos from the event, Kamo State is seen surrounded by his groomsmen, among whom was his fellow skit maker and friend Pastor Pikin, popularly known as Erekere. Famous for his hilarious “pickpocket” skits, Erekere added a dose of humour to the day’s proceedings. At one point, a guest jokingly asked him if their belongings were safe, to which he replied with his signature cheeky smile.
Kamo State himself brought style and flair to the event, rocking a regal Agbada as he strolled confidently by the poolside, exuding happiness.
The wedding also brought back memories of Kamo State’s emotional proposal, which went viral after he was seen shedding tears while asking Esther to be his wife. That heartfelt moment was a testament to the deep bond the couple shares, and their big day was nothing short of a dream come true.
