The Enugu SME Center has announced the successful completion of the Enugu SME ITF-NECA Vocational Training Programme aimed at equipping young people with skills.
In a statement, the Special Adviser to the Governor on SMEs and Digital Economy, Arinze Chilo-Offiah said the programme, held in collaboration with partners including the COPEN Group, Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), and C-STEMP Skills Training Centre, was designed to equip youths with practical skills in plumbing and electrical installation and maintenance.
He said over 150 participants were trained and certified at the third edition of the Amadeo Business Summit, marking a significant milestone in the state government’s commitment to youth empowerment.
“We extend our appreciation to our dedicated trainers and official partners—the COPEN Group, ITF, NECA, and C-STEMP Skills Training Centre—for their unwavering support and expertise.
“Our deepest gratitude goes to the state governor, Dr Peter Mbah, for his continuous support of small businesses in Enugu State.
“The Enugu SME Center remains steadfast in its mission to empower SMEs within the state. We encourage you to stay connected with us for updates on upcoming programs and initiatives”, Chilo-Offiah said.
