Billionaire businessman and senator, Ned Nwoko, has shared how actress Regina Daniels had numerous suitors before she decided to marry him.
In a video shared on Instagram by Regina on Sunday, Nwoko expressed his admiration and gratitude for his wife in the presence of her mother and some guests.
Nwoko revealed that Regina had been pursued by a range of suitors, including pastors, film producers, and oil barons. However, he expressed his appreciation that she turned them all down and chose him instead.
“She’s such a gem. She told me there were so many suitors, including reverend pastors, oil bunkers, film producers, and many of them. She gave me the list of her suitors. They were sending her things but she didn’t say ‘yes’ to any of them,” he said.
Nwoko also thanked Regina’s mother for “keeping her,” adding that he was “grateful her daughter was a virgin and it’s from her resolve to be strong.”
He added that he did not have to go through many processes, and did not have the time to visit anyone from her father’s side before marrying Regina despite being a “traditional man”.
“I just went to her mother and everything was sorted out,” he said.
It was reported that Nwoko and Regina celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on May 28, 2024.
Regina described it as “a remarkable five years of marital bliss with so much to show for it.”
