Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, Friday morning announced the passing of his father.
The goalkeeper announced in an Instagram post this morning just hours after he played for 90 minutes in Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw with Benin Republic in an African Cup of Nations qualifiers in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
The South Africa-based goal tender wrote “Rest in peace, Dad” with a tearful emoji.
The cause of the death is still unknown as of press time.
