The Nigerian Senate is set to screen ministerial nominees submitted by President Bola Tinubu today, following his formal request on October 24. The list, read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio last Thursday, includes:
– Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
– Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Minister of State, Foreign Affairs
– Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Labour and Employment
– Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Development
– Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad, Minister of State, Education
– Idi Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development
– Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Minister of State, Housing.
The nominees have been vetted by the Department of State Services (DSS), and some were seen submitting their CVs at Senator Basheer Lado’s office, Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, on Monday.
