Popular socialite Mr. Jollof has filed a lawsuit against activist Verydarkman, seeking N500 million in damages over alleged defamatory comments made about his wife.
The legal clash stems from an earlier conflict between the two, during which Verydarkman claimed that Mr. Jollof’s wife had been involved in certain activities that helped her husband secure a position as Senior Special Assistant (SSA).
In the writ of summons shared by Mr. Jollof online, Verydarkman has 30 days to appear before the court, or he will face legal consequences. Mr. Jollof is demanding a substantial sum as compensation for the alleged defamatory remarks.
