Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has issued a formal apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman, Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, for making defamatory comments about him.
This apology comes after a Federal Capital Territory High Court ruling in April 2024, which ordered Abubakar to pay N10 million in damages to the cleric for defamation.
In her letter, dated Saturday, October 5, 2024, Abubakar acknowledged that her allegations against Apostle Suleman were baseless. She expressed deep regret for the distress caused to him, his wife, Dr. Lizzy Suleman, and the ministry.
