Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti recently opened up about his feelings of disappointment regarding an incident involving Nigerian superstar Davido.
Seun Kuti recounted how he was hurt when Davido did not send him an invitation to his wedding. According to Seun, who shared his experience during a chat on the popular podcast, Curiosity Made Me Ask with Isbae U, he had been expecting to receive an invitation to the star-studded event, considering their mutual respect within the Nigerian music industry.
Popular singer, Seun Kuti has narrated how he was hurt when Davido failed to send him an invitation to his wedding.
According to him, despite how the singer always visited his place and their cordiality, when it was time for his wedding, he didn’t invite him.
He recalled how Davido would come with many of his guys to his ‘Shrine’ to drink and they wouldn’t pay.
Seun noted that not being sent an invitation had hurt him deeply, and he didn’t sleep for a week.
