Anthony Joshua to Rematch Dubois After Knockout Defeat

Anthony Joshua is already plotting his comeback after a tough loss to Daniel Dubois, who knocked him out in the fifth round during their clash at Wembley last month.

This defeat was a harsh reality check for the former two-time unified heavyweight champion, who was sent to the canvas a staggering four times in what was a career-defining moment for Dubois.

At just 34 years old, Joshua seems determined to get back in the ring for an immediate rematch with the IBF champion.

His promoter, Eddie Hearn, recently revealed that Joshua has been in talks with Saudi boxing mogul Turki Alalshikh about his next steps.

On talkSPORT, Hearn shared, “If it is up to AJ, the rematch is 100 per cent on. He’s like, ‘Let me at him, I know I can beat him’.”

“But we will talk internally as a team and advise him on what is best, I think we are leaning towards the immediate rematch and I think it is going to be difficult to convince AJ otherwise.”
