The legal representative of popular influencer Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, has disclosed the reason for his absence at a scheduled appearance before a panel at the National Assembly Complex.
The panel was set to investigate allegations that Bobrisky had allegedly paid a ₦15 million bribe to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to have money laundering charges against him dropped.
In a statement submitted to the panel, Bobrisky’s legal team explained that their client was unable to attend due to health issues. The team emphasized that Bobrisky was unwell, making it impossible for him to appear in person to address the claims.
Meanwhile, Verydarkman, declined to provide details regarding the recording that allegedly exposed the influencer, maintaining that Bobrisky’s presence was essential for the hearing to proceed.
