Breaking: Tinubu Hosts Okpebholo, APC Govs at State House

President Bola Tinubu is hosting the Edo State governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.

Okpebholo was welcomed into the President’s office by the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, along with several governors elected on the party’s platform.

Among those present were the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Usman Ododo (Kogi), and Dapo Abiodun (Ogun).

Also in attendance were Adams Oshiomhole, the Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, and Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu.

On Sunday, the Independent National Electoral Commission declared Okpebholo of the APC the winner of last Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.
