As voters elect new governor today, September 21, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said that only 2,249,780 collected PVCs will participate in the exercise.
The voters will elect one candidate among 17 candidates standing for the election across 4,519 polling units in 192 wards of the 18 local government areas of the state.
The election is expected to be a close call between the leading political parties like the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, All Progressives Congress, APC, and Labour Party.
