Senator Adams Oshiomhole secured a sweeping victory at his polling unit in the Edo State governorship election.
Oshiomhole, who cast his vote at Ward 10, Polling Unit 1, Etsako West Local Government Area, led the results with a commanding win for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The APC candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, garnered 403 votes, leaving his rivals far behind. Asue Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, managed just a single vote, while Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party failed to make an impact, with no recorded votes at the unit.
Surprisingly, the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate also picked up one vote, tying with Ighodalo.
