The entire Ogbete Market Trader’s Association (OMATA) in Enugu State has been turned into a mourning state after gunmen, suspected to be assassins killed the chairman of the market union, Stephen Aniagu.
Sources said Aniagu, was shot dead at about 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, in the Topland area of the state.
It was gathered that the victim was driving home when the hoodlums flagged down his vehicle and shot him d@ad.
A gory video clip recorded after the attack shows the bullet-riddled body of the victim lying on the ground in a pool of his blood as several residents gathered around the area.
