American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 Presidential Election. She announced her support via Instagram following Tuesday night’s presidential debate between Harris and former President Donald Trump.
Swift revealed that she will vote for Harris and Tim Walz, praising Harris as a dedicated advocate for the causes Swift values. She described Harris as a “steady-handed, gifted leader” who can bring about positive change and expressed her confidence in their potential to work effectively together.
In her Instagram post, Swift stated:
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. She is a steady-handed, gifted leader, and I believe we can achieve much more with calm leadership rather than chaos.
“I was also impressed by her choice of running mate, @timwalz, who has long advocated for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s autonomy. I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Now it’s up to you to do your research and make yours. For first-time voters, remember to register to vote and consider voting early.
