Big Brother Naija star Francisca Owumi has passed away after a brief illness.
Her family announced her death on social media on August 29, 2024, sharing her photos with the caption:
“A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
Francisca was the first runner-up of the inaugural Big Brother Nigeria reality show in 2006.
She was known for her fierce dance moves and shared the house with contestants like Katung Aduwak, who won the show, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, Maureen Osuji, Ify Ejikeme, the late Joseph Ada, and others. After the show, Francisca ventured into the Nigerian music scene, releasing two singles, “Gbadun You” and “Diva.”
