Miss South Africa contestant Chidimma Adetshina has expressed a reluctance to return to South Africa in the near future.
Adetshina, who faced criticism following her announcement as a contestant, withdrew from the pageant amid allegations from the South African Home Office against her mother, including fraud and identity theft.
After withdrawing from the Miss South Africa pageant, Adetshina accepted an invitation to compete in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.
Since arriving in Nigeria, she has shared her excitement about staying in the country. In an interview with Cool FM Nigeria, Adetshina said, “I’m not looking forward to going back to South Africa. I want to explore more and stay longer to see what happens next.”
She has expressed a strong desire to remain in Nigeria, her father’s homeland.
