The Supreme Court on Friday upheld the re-election victory of Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri of the Peoples Democratic Party.
In a unanimous decision, the five-member panel dismissed the appeal filed by Timipre Sylva, the All Progressives Congress candidate, who was challenging the outcome of the November 11, 2023 election.
