Nigerian comedian MC Orobo has publicly criticized media personality Martins Otse, also known as Verydarkman (VDM), for his ongoing attacks on Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, the founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries.
Despite a court-issued restraining order, VDM has continued to disparage the prophet, which prompted MC Orobo to speak out in defense of Prophet Fufeyin.
MC Orobo emphasized that Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has a proven track record of philanthropy, often using funds from the sale of spiritual items to support charitable causes. He argued that criticism of the prophet would only be justified if he failed to provide the purchased items to his followers, which has not been the case.
The comedian also pointed out that different churches have varying doctrines and practices, suggesting that those who disagree with Prophet Jeremiah’s teachings should consider attending other places of worship.
He noted that members of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries have not voiced any dissatisfaction, indicating that VDM’s concerns might be baseless.
MC Orobo further challenged VDM to reveal his own religious affiliations, suggesting that personal biases may be influencing his attacks on Prophet Jeremiah. He warned VDM that his continued disregard for the court’s restraining order could lead to legal repercussions.
