South African singer Tyla has voiced her disapproval of how Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina, a former Miss South Africa finalist, was treated.
Chidimma Adetshina, who has Nigerian and Mozambican heritage, encountered criticism regarding her nationality and subsequently withdrew from the competition.
Tyla has condemned this treatment, expressing the view that Adetshina was bullied out of the contest and advocating against such behavior.
She shared a report of Adetshina’s withdrawal and offered support, stating:
“Disappointed that this happened to her, but wish you all the best girl. Kill it!”
Tyla emphasized her stance against bullying, she said, “I will always stand with South Africa, i just feel regardless of the opinions… She was bullied and that’s what I don’t stand for.”
