Afrobeats singer Ahmed Ololade, widely known as Asake, has shared that his Grammy-winning colleague, Wizkid, is a significant source of inspiration for him.
In discussing his recent collaboration with Wizkid on the track “MMS” from his third studio album, *Lungu Boy*, Asake expressed his long-standing desire to work with the ‘Ojuelegba’ star. He noted his excitement about the collaboration and how it has been a dream come true for him.
“It’s no secret that Wizkid is one of my music inspirations. As a young striving artiste in Lagos, I’ve been waiting for that right song so when the opportunity came it was a no-brainer.
“‘MMS’ stands for ‘Mr Money Sound’ and it explains my music journey.”
