Aka Ikenga expresses shock over Iwuanyanwu's death

Igbo Think Tank, Aka Ikenga, has expressed shock over the passage of the President General of Ohanaeze, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.

The group in a statement by its Director of Publicity, Collins Steve Ugwu, said: “It’s culturally troubling and mentally numbing to immediately begin to discuss the passage of a sage leader and character, such that fell upon the shoulders of Engr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu (CFR) to occupy in Igbo nationality.

“His various persona as a certified engineer of the highest pedigree, an indigenous contractor of eminent heights, a politician of boundless ambitions that eventually coalesced to a leader at the acme of Ndigbo nationality is a caveat for deep circumspection to rattle a discussion of him in cold past tense.

“I honestly wagger that if this news that is wished to remain just a hearsay becomes real, his biggest denial of living peace must be the non release of his son Nnamdi Kalu to him as begged, requested, and endlessly championed.

“The Igbo elders will keep their fingers in their mouth for studied silence until the official break of the news from his family, his Umunna Obi, and the Ohanaeze Ndigbo before respectable and responsible tributes can be made. We will surely come through with a full statement befitting his colossal and sacrificial imagery.”
