Street pop artist Portable has revealed the extent of his debt after being scammed by tour promoters in America.
In a video posted online, Portable explained that he had planned to travel to America for a performance but was denied a visa six times, allegedly due to his poor English skills.
Portable mentioned that he had been paid N3.6 million for the event, and despite many people purchasing tickets, he was unable to attend because of the visa issue.
He further explained that the promoters demanded more than double the amount he received. Although he was asked to pay over N20 million, he has already paid N18 million so far.
