Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan is in high spirits following her victory at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
CAS ruled in favor of the 27-year-old in an appeal brought by World Athletics and the World Anti-Doping Agency.
“It’s all God,” Amusan shared in an Instagram post alongside the court’s announcement.
The Ogun-State-born athlete was initially suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) in 2023 for missing three drug tests within a 12-month period.
However, the verdict was later overturned by the AIU panel.
If the appeal had been upheld, Amusan would have missed the 2024 Olympic Games and faced a two-year suspension.
