Everton is on the verge of securing a deal to sign Wilfred Ndidi on a free transfer, according to DAILY POST.
Ndidi will become a free agent at the end of this month after failing to reach an agreement on a new contract with Leicester City.
Several clubs, including Everton, Monaco, Olympique Lyonnais, and Olympique de Marseille, have shown interest in signing him.
Everton is currently leading the race, as they are in advanced talks with the midfielder’s representatives.
According to Football Insider, the Nigerian international has agreed to join Everton.Everton are desperate to add Ndidi’s quality and experience to their midfield.
The 27-year-old has so far played 192 Premier League games for Leicester City.
Ndidi scored four goals and provided five assists in 32 league appearances for the club last term.
