Following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, Plateau United has announced a three-week break for both players and officials of the club. The General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla, conveyed this decision during a meeting with the team and technical staff.
Mutla expressed gratitude for their efforts, which led to the team finishing fifth in the season standings. However, he voiced disappointment over the team’s failure to secure a spot in continental competitions. He also commended the technical crew for their dedicated contributions throughout the season.
In their final match of the season, the Jos club suffered a 2-0 defeat to Enyimba.
Meanwhile, Plateau United has appointed Ibrahim Title as the new team manager.
