Ebonyi State Commissioner for Health, Dr Moses Ekuma, has restated that the state is currently investigating samples of 38 suspected cases of cholera virus.
The Commissioner made the assertion at the weekend while responding to inquiries on the status of the state regarding the upsurge of cholera epidemics in the country.
He said no confirmed case of cholera has been recorded in any part of the state.
Ekuma urged resident of the state to be cautious and maintain cleanliness and good environment.
According to him, adherence to hygiene and clean environment will stem the tide of cholera outbreak in the state.
